Stars of the Week: Nathan A and Kourtney
This half term in English, we have been reading Oliver and the Seawigs by Philip Reeve. The past week we have written our own version of this story but from another character’s point of view. We have broken the story down into five parts, the beginning, the build up, the problem, the resolution and the end. We have focused on using speech, including how to punctuate speech correctly and using powerful verbs to make the actions more dramatic. Their writing has been so imaginative and interesting to read.
Our Collective Worship Assembly is on Tuesday 7th November, it would be great to see many of you there. Please help your children to learn their lines and the song over the half term holiday.
