Fact into Fiction – A Charles Dickens Story

We had a fantastic time at our Charles Dickens Workshop today. We heard the story of Charles Dicken’s early live before using sound and drama to create our own versions. We also enjoyed finding out some extra information about his life and the life of other Victorian Children at the Cuming Museum.

It was amazingly fun,I never expected it to be that fun. I really enjoyed Olivia’s story she was really funny and it was very mysterious especially theĀ malodorous smells of the River Thames and the streetsĀ ,I also liked the objects and games, such as the snake and ladders.

It was really fun learning about Charles Dickens, and I really enjoyed the workshop and smelling all different kinds of smells from Victorian London, my favourite part of the trip was the storytelling .
