I really enjoyed portraying Herod in the Christmas play. I was very happy with what I achieved the day of the service. I was also very proud of me being the chocolate thief in the epic story of; 0010 in the case of the chocolate desperado.

    My Highlights of Year 5
I have enjoyed class 5 thoroughly although there have been ups and downs I have always pulled through. I have really enjoyed filming the Oliver twist trailer and I am also proud of my performance of the narrator in our Christmas play but overall I have really enjoyed year 5

It’s been an amazing experience to be known as Class 5. I’ll know that my responsibilities and actions will be taken seriously In Year 6. The highlights of my school year is participating in the Christmas play; meeting Roy (Crystal’s Godfather) because he brought in The Olympic Torch and becoming a digital leader. I’ve really enjoy the experience of being one, however I can’t to start my new job as a Cathedral Captain! I can’t wait to go to Year 6 especially PGL!

I’ve really enjoyed being in class 5. This year I’ve had a wonderful time meeting a new class mate and becoming her friend. I really enjoyed filming our own Oliver Twist trailers using the ipads. One of my highlights was when the whole school got to either hold the Olympic torch or touch it. Last week we wrote a story and properly recorded it with a professional microphone, headphones and a pop shield it was really fun.

All the exciting things that happened in year 5…

One of the best things that happened in year 5 must have been when we did the Christmas play with Mrs Rees. I was so happy when I became the third wise man! There was also a lot of pressure on us to learn our lines because everyone had so many to learn however we all worked hard and everything turned out all right.

Another exciting thing was when we acted trailers for the movie Oliver Twist. We had to split into groups to film our trailer on the I pad and show it to the rest of the class!

There was also the time when we did the recording of 0010 and tin the case of the chocolate desperado. First we wrote a story and Tanya made some songs. Then we recorded the story and songs. Finally we came up with a title page picture for the story video.
One more exciting thing was when we created some World War 2 Anderson shelters out of materials in school or from home. It was a challenge putting the parts of the shelter.

There are many things that I have enjoyed this year but one of my favourite was the Olympic torch when one of our school mates brought the Olympic torch to Cathedral school owned by her Godfather. I really enjoyed it and grateful for that opportunity and is something that I will always remember it.

One of my highlights of Class 5 was when we participated in the school Christmas play. Another was when I had the opportunity to become a part of the school tennis or cricket team, as soon as I stepped into Class 5 I knew that I was old enough to have a responsibility to look after myself and my family, also I had to make my own decision even when I need help with my work. I want to make my education very good so I can get excellent S.A.T’s report to make my family proud.

The highlights of my career in Class 5 are:
Doing the Christmas Service (I was the first wise man or King). I was proud of this as I was playing one of the major parts, but I was kind of anxious and nerves crept over me.
Making the adverts of Oliver twist was hard, we had to sort out all the pictures and words to be in certain positions.
We did some recordings that a lady called Tanya did for us, I think and hope it turned out great.

One of the highlights of my year is walking onto the stage of Southwark Cathedral half trembling with fear the other half with joy. Another is creating the ironed bag wallets for the joy of recycling at sustainable enterprise week last October we have to do our best to preserve our wonderful planet. Plus I will never forget the day that Roy brought in his Olympic torch for we all had the pride to hold it.

This year I have enjoyed making the Oliver Twist film, and doing the recording with Tanya, when I was saying my bit it was really nerve-racking. I felt weird wearing the headphones, because it was the first time wearing them. I really enjoyed it when I held the torch; it was really exciting for me. When I first used the I-pad, it was exciting and cool. I will always remember when we did the Christmas play and when we had the Jubilee party, it was great fun.

I have really enjoyed learning in year 5. It was a very fun and educational class. I loved the way we all got to play a part in the recording in class and how we learned two new songs (watch out beware and never judge a book by its cover). I also had a great time when we did the Christmas play. It may have been nerve racking but it was also very exciting. The time that Roy came to the school, I was extremely excited at how we got to hold the Olympic torch. It was so cool even though it was not real gold. I have really enjoyed this year of class 5.

    Mrs Rees
I really enjoyed year five. We had lots of fun through the year. Mrs Rees our teacher was the best of it all. She always liked to make each lesson a fun one; she always talks us on trips and lots of fun events like the mini Olympics. Mrs Rees never gave up on me and my class.

    The Christmas Play
I was walking down the streets to school, Butterfly’s in my tummy. Today was the day I was going to perform the Christmas play. Even though I was not going to say anything I couldn’t stop my stage fright. Whenever I went on stage I can’t stop smiling. But I had to try my best, But when it was over and done with I was actually happy. That was the best day ever. Class 5 has been a great class and I hope to carry it on in year 6.

This year I have really enjoyed making our Oliver Twist trailers, it has been a real experience using the I-pads to film. I remember holding the Olympic torch. I have never expected to be able to hold the torch. I also loved recording our story together as a class with Tanya; it has been amazing to be able to sing into a microphone with headphones. The Christmas play was also a fantastic memory.
