It has been an absolute pleasure to meet Class 5. We have had a lot of fun learning about Islam as part of our World Faiths Week. The children have worked extremely hard to produce some beautiful Eid cards, henna patterns and some Islamic Art.
We have also written our class charter of rights that we are going to respect in our classroom this year. I think you will agree that they are all extremely valuable and important.
In this classroom, we have the right to:
- an opinion
- choose our own friends
- an education, and to be encouraged to go to school
- choose our own religion and beliefs and to be respected no matter who you are or where you are from
- smile!
