Book Bingo fun

This morning we had a fantastic time with Year 4 talking Books, Books, Books.  We thought about what was have already read and made recommendations to each other before choosing 6 new books for our Book Bingo cards to read over the summer.

What books would you recommend and why?

What are you looking forward to reading next?

I would recommend The Girl of Ink and Stars, Serena Valentino books and Lemony Snicket books because they are interesting, inspiring and adventurous . They use complicated words and have a nice style of writing.
I am looking forward to reading ; Wonder, Dork Diary TV star, Granny, Murder Most Unladylike, The Island at the end of everything and The Dragonfly pool.

I would really recommend the Murder Most Unladylike series because it is quite challenging, yet a really fun read. They are really great if you like mystery, horror, and surprises. Some books that I am looking forward to reading are: The Guggenheim Mystery (its written by the same author), Chomp (because I’ve read the rest of the series and enjoyed it) and Roof-toppers (as my friend has recommended it to me, and it is a bit different to the books I usually read).

I would highly recommend the Alex Rider series if you have not tries it yet because it is our class craze and everybody who has started to read it said that the book is really good. Nobody love the books as much as I do!

The book that I am looking forward to read is the buried crown because the blurb really intrigued me. It made me want to try it and see what it would be like. I really hope it is a good book!

I really enjoyed making decisions and choosing books for my book bingo card as I saw lots of recommendations on how people liked the books or not. This really helped me to choose it. I am really happy we are doing this because it also will help other children.

I enjoyed this because it gives you an opportunity to see how popular some books you haven’t read are. Also it tell you how much people have read a book and how much they liked it or disliked it.

i recommend dragonfly pool because it is about this girl who is sent to a boarding school because her parents died in a fire. then people come to tell that she will have to go and live with her long lost uncle who has two children. but the problem is they live in a rainforest when she first came she thought they were boring but they wasn’t so bad after all. i’m looking forward to reading birthday boy because since it will be summer i would to just pick up a book and be able to relax because his books are full of adventure and it makes you imagine your there.
