Reptile Life

Today, Mr Morrell organised a visit by Reptile Life, and Class 6 got to visit too!

What did you learn about these animals?

Which animal did you like the most and why?

How did the animals feel?

Oh Wow! You guys actually touched a snake, something I would never be able to do. That snake looked massive and very wide! Well done to everyone who touched this beautiful creature, beacuse that does look very frightening to do!

I really liked all of the animals but my favourite animal has to be the meerkat because when I touched it, she was so soft and furry!

Before I touched the animals, I thought that they might do something to me (like as an example bite me) but then when the first animal came I thought maybe I could give it a try, then after the first animal I felt more confident thanks to the teachers that were making me confident. They made me confident by encouraging me!

Oh and hi Kristel and Obiora, it was really cool, I hope you’re enjoying your new schools!

Before I touched the snake, I felt petrified with fear but then the man told me it was alright so I touched it and it felt as smooth as anything!

Meeting all the amazing animals was a wonderful experience and I hope to do it again.

My two favourite animals had to be the Tortoise and the Meerkat. The Tortoise’s shell was so beautiful and nice to touch whilst the Meerkat’s furry coat calmed me at a touch.

I am so grateful that we got to feel and see these beautiful creatures and thank you to the people who brought them in.
