Following our latest maths test, I would love to know what you would like a lesson on; what would help you to develop the most?

In maths I would like to learn a bit more on charts as I don’t fully understand it all, I would mainly like to focus on pie charts as they are the ones I don’t fully understand. Also I would like to do more on measurements and estimation on weight such as ‘ how heavy is a bus?’ And doing questions and calculations mentally.

I would like to do a lesson on finding the mean, median and mode of numbers because sometimes I get confused about which is which. We could use calculators to check our work as well.
I had difficulty working out mean in the test and even though we did it on Friday booster, I would still like some help with it. I would also like to do work on coordinates and fraction word problems because I got those questions wrong in the maths test and know what I did wrong but still want to work on it.

I would like some help on algebra and naming shapes. We could maybe get hold of shapes and make sure that we know all the shapes and facts about them. As a class we could maybe work in groups and be given some algebra questions to try and answer. (So everyone has a good understanding).

I am happy with my score however, I know I could have easily got the one mark I missed out on. It was a BIDMAS question so I have been practicing that on mathletics and at home; if we did another lesson on it, I think that would be great, it would really help extend my knowledge of it and that would also help me remember it. The only obstacle I’m facing at the moment is getting nervous before and after a test, this most probably effects my work and sometimes it’s really hard to control.
We will all have a chat about nerves; remember that tests are just a way for you to show all that you have learnt!
I would like to do pie charts because we have only done 2 or 3 lessons on it and I would like to do more on it.

Line graphs, as I do not think we have learnt that in Year 6 and we might need it for SATs. Metric lengths as I find those hard and maybe square and cube roots.
Please may I have some help on coordinates because in both of the questions I got the answer wrong. Please may I also have some help with reflecting shapes.

Hello, this year I had some difficulties with coordinates and spotting when to use ratio, if a-b is 3* as much as c-d I would not spot the ratio, so I would just like to have help on everything ratio, thank you for every thing we have learnt this year in all subjects!

Would be very good if we could do mean in maths; because in the test I did not fully understand what it meant until I went on Mathletics and started to understand it fully. The problems that I am facing at the moment are mainly shapes and finding angles in shapes .
I would like to work on coordinates because in one of the tests and didn’t quite understand the question. I would to work on more charts specifically on pie charts. I would like to work on naming shapes and how you would know how it’s that shape.
