Reception in Wonderland!
We are loving reading ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at the moment. Here are just a few of the things we have been getting up to:
– Acting out and retelling the story in our very own Wonderland role play areas, inside and outside.
– Learning how to tell the time so that we are not late like the White Rabbit!
– Having a crazy Mad Hatter’s tea party!
– Making our own shrinking and growing potions.
– Making the singing flowers.
– Drawing and labelling the setting and characters from the story.
Learning about Frogspawn
Thank you Mollie for bringing in some frogspawn for us to learn about. We watched closely over a few days as some of the eggs turned into tadpoles. We learned more about frogspawn from the information books we found in the library.
Stay and Play!
A fantastic morning was had by all and it was hard to tell whether it was the children or the grown ups that were having the most fun! Don’t worry if you were unable to make it as we will have another stay and play session in the summer, hopefully when it is a litte warmer!

Book Week
Dressing in amazing costumes, reading in the sun, sharing books with parents, making tally charts… Just a few of the wonderful things we got up to during book week.
