Cathedral Primary School

We are a Church of England Primary School in the diocese of Southwark. Please browse the website to discover the recent achievements, future events and for a flavour of what pupils of this school are currently involved in.

This website is embedded in the teaching and learning we do in school and additional content is being added every week. Teachers and pupils alike will have the opportunity to publish posts and pages, and parents and friends of the school are encouraged to leave comments.

New for 2014

We received a letter from David Laws MP, Minister of State for Schools, congratulating us for our performance in our KS2 SATS 2013. It states that we were in the top 250 performing schools and describes us as ‘exceptionally effective in educating its pupils’. You can download the letter here.
A recent in-depth analysis of official DFE data on schools in England identified The Cathedral School of St Saviour and St Mary Overy’s success and the school has qualified for two SSAT Educational Outcomes Awards for their pupils’ high attainment and progress. More about that here.
We have added the recent Section 48 SIAS Report (Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools). The report is extremely favourable and we were judged to be ‘outstanding’ in all areas with significant progress since the last inspection. Thanks again to the whole school community for your support.
And find out what happened when our children made the news and joined the Prime Minister at Downing St.
