We looked at famous self-portraits such as Vincent Van Gogh, Chuck Close and Andy Warhol. We realised that different self-portraits show how the person is feeling. We then created our own self-portrait, focusing on detail of the face and expression.

For World Faiths Week , we worked hard on learning all about Hinduism and Islam. We learnt in lessons about the music they listen to, what Muslims and Hindus eat and also how they celebrate festivals. We also researched Islam and Hinduism during ICT and at home.

 

We created our own class religious mantra with percussion instruments and using our own voices.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the end of the week, we worked in groups and presented all our findings to the class.
