Science Enrichment Day

Today we were very lucky to be visited from several scientists from St Guys department of Neurobiology. We worked our way around a carousel of activities including observing using microscopes, using UV lights to identify cells and also using computers to enhance our observations.

We learnt lots today and it really inspired us to learn more about our brains!

Book Week 2016

world-book-week

This week was Book Week at Cathedral School. We’ve been taking part in lots of book related activities! Our focus for the week was Anthony Browne and we’ve been looking at lots of different books he wrote. We then planned our own short stories before turning them into our very own picture books!

We also got to spend part of our afternoon reading with Reception which was great fun! They picked the book and we used our exciting reading voices to add expression and really make the stories come to life!

What is your favourite book? What did you enjoy most about Book Week?
