    Lauren
    Year Three

    Ellie And Her Amazing Dream
Chapter One – Going To School

“Wake up, Wake up” cried Ellie bouncing on her parents tummies. It was her first day at school and all she could think about was school. She got dressed and then ran swiftly into the neat kitchen. She gobbled up her breakfast then she flung on her coat, grabbed her bag and ran all the way to school.
Her Teacher, Mr. Watkins took her hand and led her in, they first went to assembly then started maths.

    Chapter Two – Falling Asleep

Ellie was very tired and was so tired that she fell straight asleep!
In her dream, she dreamt about…
Ellie was a beautiful princess with a pink and gold dress and was riding on a beautiful dappled grey horse (that’s a grey horse with white spots).  She could hear a baby whining with fear, “oh no” she thought I must help it! So she galloped to a cave where the sound was coming from and saw a fierce dragon breathing fire a tiny weenie girl. The girl’s hand had been burnt and she was now screaming for help, when the girl saw Ellie coming towards the cave she brightened up a tiny bit. When Ellie saw the dragon she pulled a sword out of the air and started slashing at the dragon. At last the dragon fell to the floor, that was Ellie’s chance “ Now ready steady go!” she thought.  At once she galloped in and grabbed the child. Once she had got quite far away from the dragon Ellie asked the girl “Are you okay?”
“No” answered the girl and she showed Ellie her hand.
“Poor you” said Ellie and picked the small child up and put the girl on her horse. Then she led the horse to the girl’s house, the Mum thanked Ellie then took the girl to the hospital. The next day Ellie got a medal and was in the news!

Chapter Three – Getting Told Off

“Wake up” cried Mr.Watkins loudly “Come to my office after school”.
“Sorry” said Ellie softly at last realising that she had been having a dream.
The day went by quickly, then after school Ellie went to Mr.Watkins and got a punishment. Oh no!

    EVE THE TIME MACHINE
    By Polly

The journey began one Saturday at an orphanage in London. It was 12 o’ clock at night and brother and sister Jenny and Michael were both wide awake. “Stop making that noise, I can’t get to sleep” moaned Jenny. “But I’m not making a noise!” Michael snapped back. The humming noise sounded like it was coming from the garden so the children went to investigate. Nervously they went out into the dark, gloomy night. The moon was half hidden behind misty blue clouds. They noticed something very peculiar, an object was materialising out of nowhere right in front of them.

The object was huge and shiny. The children were so curious they decided to go inside and explore. They were amazed to find no driver or crew onboard. Then out of nowhere they heard a high-pitched voice. “My name is Eve” it said, “I am a shape-shifting time-machine. I can communicate with humans and all other life-forms”. “So can you really travel in time?” asked Michael. “Would you like to travel to the future with me?” said Eve. “That would be awesome” they replied excitedly. Just then there was a flash of light and the machine lurched sideways knocking the children off their feet.

When they stepped outside the children were flabbergasted. All around them were huge, silver sky scrapers soaring into the air and glimmering in the sunlight. Jenny could see hover scooters zooming above her in the air. Michael saw robots of all different sizes, shapes and colors and could hear their heavy metal feet clanking as they walked.

Meanwhile somewhere else in the future, an evil scientist called Professor Perish had been plotting to capture Eve. He wanted to take her apart because inside she had a special microchip heart that he needed to complete his secret weapon, the ‘cloning machine 3000’. Suddenly out of nowhere they heard a voice ”Hello Eve, we meet again” It was Professor Perish with an evil grin on his face.” Oh no, not you again! said Eve. Just then Professor Perish launched an electro-magnetic bomb towards them. Eve reacted in a split second, pulling the children into her and teleporting them safely back into the past. “Who was that?” asked Michael. “That’s my arch enemy Professor Perish. He’s been chasing me across the universe for the last 6000 years to try and steal my heart chip” she explained.

In seconds they were back home. “Will we ever see you again?” asked the children. “You never know” said Eve. The next morning the children woke up to the news that someone wanted to adopt them. The headmistress of the orphanage Miss Hatherley introduced them to a lady in her office. “This is Eve, she wants to adopt you” she told them. “Hello children” said Eve. The children instantly recognised the voice. They winked at each other then winked at Eve. They left the orphanage for the last time with their new mum to go on a magnificent journey through time and space.

    Percy the hero

    Chapter 1

    At School
One sunny Friday a boy called Percy and a girl called Rebecca were at school and they were late again. Just like every other day. But before I explain why I will like to introduce them to you. Percy is a special boy with equally special powers. He has super strength, x ray vision and laser eyes. Rebecca she is a very flexible and smart girl who is Percy’s best friend and sidekick. Adam is Rebecca’s dad and he is normal. Percy is 17, Rebecca is 15 and Adam is 46.
They were late because they went to the shop and took a long time.

    Chapter 2

    The poisonous drink
When Rebecca and Percy got home they found Adam on the floor in the sitting room! He was breathing but they could not wake him up. He was in a coma. They rushed to the kitchen where they found a strange drink in a flower. Rebecca went to her lab followed by Percy. They found out that the drink came from Canada. They realised that they will have to go to Canada to find the cure. They both thought “We don’t want to leave but we have to save Adam”.

It took a long time to get to Canada. They went through a forest and half way through they heard a rustle. Rebecca got taken away from Percy by a beast. Percy felt frightened and didn’t know what to do without her because she had all the clever ideas. Rebecca had put a tracking device on Percy but she did not have one. Percy did not know what to do to find Rebecca. He felt saving Adam was more urgent so he decided to carry on the journey without Rebecca.

    Chapter 3

I know what was inside the drink
Percy continued alone until he came to a mountain. On the south side of the mountain was a secret lair run by little forest people. Percy pleaded with them to help him find out what was in the drink. They did not want to help him at first but when Percy explained what happened to Rebecca, they felt sorry for him. The little people told Percy that there was a tiny magical bug in the drink which turned anyone who drank it into a werewolf.

    Chapter 4

I know where the cure is
Percy was told that the cure was in the forest of hope. Percy was told to head west until he came to another mountain. The forest of hope was on the other side of the mountain. On the way he found Rebecca tied to a tree. He was happy to see Rebecca but there was someone up the tree guarding her. Percy came up with a plan to lure the guard away. When the guard was out of the way, he quickly untied Rebecca and they both ran towards the forest of hope.

They got the cure and hurried back. When they arrived home Adam was still in a coma but the change was almost complete. They forced some of the portion into his mouth and watched him swallow it. He coughed and spluttered, rose up and growled. The change was complete. Adam was now a werewolf. He took a few wobbly steps, collapsed and died. Unfortunately, the cure was only made for animals.

Rebecca was now an orphan but at least she had Percy. They got married but the sad thing was that a few days later, they had to go to Adam’s funeral. In honour of Adam, they turned themselves into werewolves. They had a werewolf family and they all lived happily ever after.

    TOM AND JENNY by Samuel

One sunny day in London, Tom (who was a lieutenant) had just got back from the Western Front because he had a letter from London saying that they wanted him to help them with his two sergeant friends called Jim and Tim. They had given a house to him and his friends. HQ was just across the road from the house. Jenny (who was a poor person who lived on the street) had been sitting outside the house when he arrived and she liked the look of Lieutenant Tom. She decided she wanted to marry Tom.
One night, Tom was called over to HQ because a spy had just reported that the Jerrys (or the Germans) were planning a really big attack on this part of London and that their best bomber plane with their best crew and pilot, Ben, was coming too. Suddenly there was a big boom! Tim went to see what it was and came back cross. “What’s the matter Tim?” said Tom.
“They’ve destroyed our house.” answered Tim.
Suddenly loads more bangs went off and the rest of HQ realized it was bombs! Everyone soon ran out of HQ to tell the Air Raid Wardens to get to work at once and to help the injured civilians. Tom had gone to save Jenny but she was nowhere to be seen. Whilst they were in HQ Jenny had heard a bomb coming and knew that it was going to land on the building. She had learned that the certain sound it was making meant there was a certain place it was going to land. She knew it was Ben’s plane that was dropping the bombs so she darted through the city dodging the bombs. She went to an artillery post and told them to shoot down Ben’s plane because she felt sorry for Tom. None of the crew survived apart from Ben who had managed to parachute out of the plane and was taken prisoner. After that the Germans retreated and Jenny was the hero of the day!
Everyone in the whole city, especially Tom, was very happy with her and they gave her a very expensive house. It had all the furniture she needed, decorated with flowers and stars. The garden was nearly as big and nice as the inside of Buckingham Palace where the king lived. It was built right where Lieutenant Tom’s temporary house used to be before the bomb from Ben’s plane destroyed it. It had four floors (a lot of floors at that period of time). Jenny loved it. They even let her marry anyone she wanted to. And everything she wanted at the service she could have and it would not cost anything. She even got one hundred pounds as well as everything else. I guess you guessed who she married. Well she married Tom and they lived in the big house together. Sadly Tom was killed when he was fighting on the Western Front.

    Helen and the mysterious person
Not long ago, in New York City, there was an eight year old girl named Helen.  She was a very friendly girl and her best friend was a boy called Eliy. One summer’s day something awkward happened… Helen was walking on the street and a mysterious stranger was coming towards her slowly. She was worried with fear. Her face got hot and red, she looked like she was on fire! But when he stood in front of her, he gave a big smile and then Helen was relieved.

Helen and the mysterious person build up
She said “hello” to the stranger and the stranger said “Good morning, how are you?” Helen didn’t know what to say, so she put her thumbs up. Now, I know what you’re thinking, you must be thinking that this mysterious person is a medieval person. Well you are right!
Read more in this book and find out about what will happen to Helen…………

    Climax
Helen had thought if she could go with the stranger somewhere. She asked the stranger “Are you going anywhere today?”. The mysterious stranger knew what this meant. It meant that Helen wanted to go with him to the park. So he tricked her and said “Yes. I’m going to the park”. Helen loved the park so she said “Can I come please! Pleaeese.?”
“Okay come along then” he replied. He then held Helen’s hand tightly in case she realized that he is taking her to the dungeons and not to the park.

    Resolution
Along the way, Helen met her friend Eliy. Helen said “Hello Eliy.”
Eliy didn’t say anything as he just shockingly stared at her. Eliy then loudly screamed in shock to Helen “Helen take your hands off him, he is taking you to the dungeons.”
Helen always listened to Eliy, so luckily Helen had a knife with her, which she then used to slit the person’s hand and then she was free.

    Ending
So Helen said “Thank you so much for saving me!” and they had a party to celebrate.

    The Worst Christmas Ever! (Yet)

    By Marissa Sfarijlani

    Chapter 1-Christmas Eve.

“Hi I’m Tamara and guess what…? Its Christmas eve!” “ Go to bed Tamara.” Said mum. “B…but its Christmas Eve sobbed Tamara.” “Ok I’ll let you off this time, have you brushed your teeth?” asked mum “No!” shouted Tamara, “I was just saying.” said Mum “Then don’t say!” shouted Tamara. “Have you set the snacks out for Santa and his reindeer?” asked mum “yes of course I have mummy I’m so excited maybe I should write a diary entry!” exclaimed Tamara.

Dear diary today is Christmas Eve and my stomach is tingling. I can feel it in my gut that something is going to go wrong. Perhaps, maybe… maybe… I forgot to order pizza from ‘Pizza Dun Dun……no!, I’m just kidding! Uh-oh, or could it be…….the valentine day incident at high school where I gave everyone a special card except Shildeo my worst enemy. Perhaps she is the one who is causing this tingling feeling in my gut, perhaps it is him who seeks revenge.

Chapter 2.  The chase to Shildeo’s house.

“Mum! I’m scared and I know why” said Tamara “why?” said mum suddenly…!
The doorbell rang Tamara’s heart was pounding as she ran up to her bedroom. “Don’t be silly! It can’t be who you think it is or who you’re hiding from.” Whispered Mum. Mum swiftly opened the door and it was dad. Meanwhile Tamara started writing out an over belated valentine card for Shildeo. She then rushed out, jumped on her bicycle and in no time at all arrived at Shildeo’s home. he only lived two yards down the road. Tamara posted Shildeo’s card through the letterbox then knocked on the door.

    Chapter 3 – The Marvelous Battle Begins……

What do you think is going to happen? Well let’s find out! Back to the story “well, well, well if it isn’t Tamara welcome inside please make yourself at home. Would you like some hot chocolate or anything at all to drink?” asked Shildeo “Well I’m sorry to say but I can’t stay too long because it’s Christmas Eve” said Tamara in a sad voice but deep down inside she was evilly pleased in fact she was over the moon! “Well I got you a card to apologies for the whole valentine-day situation” said Tamara “Thanks! Would you like a sip of hot chocolate?” asked Shildeo “Yes please, that would be nice. I would like a sip”, said Tamara.

Chapter 4 – The Sad Chapter

Shildeo gave Tamara a sip of the heavily prepared hot chocolate not realizing that Tamara had apologised in advance for offering her a drink, perhaps there was poison in the hot chocolate. Tamara started coughing she had cought an illness. She jumped on her bike in a drowsy state and rode as far away as possible………you’re all probably thinking where was Santa at this crucial moment. You will discover his whereabouts in the next chapter.

    Chapter 5 -The Sleep.

Tamara went to bed. She woke up and was cured. But her bad day was just getting started. Santa didn’t even get her a present. But he had bought Shildeo the biggest present of all!

Chapter 6 – The Car Chapter.

The car broke down on the way to Tamara’s grandparents house when luckily they saw granddad with a set of jump-lead that saved the day.

Chapter 6 – The Chapter Not Needed.

Tamara had no choice but to play with all her unimportant friends including family alike. Tia, Maya, Dad, Allicia, Livia, Omar, Lamar, TJ, Mum, Aunty Natasha, Josiah, Jeramiah, Grandad and Grandma
Now that’s what you call the
    WORST CHRISTMAS EVER!!!

BILL & BUMBLE – By Clementine

In a town not far away, there lived a little quiet boy called Bill. Bill kept a wild bumblebee called Bumble (named Buzzy for short), because a month ago he found Bumble when it was snowy outside. They were friends because they always played with each other.

Have you ever had a pet bumblebee before?

The only problem was, was that Bill never knew that his mum was allergic to bees! Later on that week, Bill’s mum went into his room and started to sneeze. Have you ever started to sneeze? I haven’t! She told Bill that she started to sneeze and that she was allergic to bees. Bill got really worried!

The next week, on Monday, they walked to the doctors who told them it was an allergic reaction. After they saw the doctor Bill’s mum became sad because they couldn’t keep Buzzy any more. Bill started to cry like a wailing bird.

Suddenly he stopped crying because he knew that the bee could live in his garden and they could still be friends. “We are going to look in everyone’s room and try to find the bee” said Bill’s mum.

Cautiously, they searched all over the house – kitchen, bathroom, playroom, attic, larder and of course the living room. As she walked into Bill’s bedroom she started to sneeze so she knew that the bee was in that room. Bumble was hiding under Bill’s bed.

Bill wanted to make a swinging tree house for his pet bee for him to stay in the garden. Happily, Bill built a mansion out of a shoebox and Lego. The home was camouflaged so no birds could get in and hurt the bees. Bill asked his dad to hang the new home up in the Oak tree that looked into his bedroom window. Then they let the bee fly away and straightaway he tried out his new home.

Bill could always now see Bumble without his mum sneezing.

    The Secret Hole

    By Ella

One sunny day a girl called Georgina walked into a dark, damp and gloomy wood. Her friend Nardiasa followed her but Georgina did not want her to. When Nardiasa caught up with Georgina, Georgina got angry and ran swiftly away in a huff.
When she got out of the wood she met an old man who gave her two magic wishing crystals. Just then Nardiasa appeared from the wood; she came running out as if she had just seen a monster. “I’ve seen a fairy” she screamed “and it’s coming to get me!” Georgina and the old man looked at each other puzzled. “There is no time to lose” shouted Nardiasa “run!” Georgina and the man stayed still, not even moving a muscle.
Suddenly a fairy appeared from a bush, she was dressed in black and didn’t look very happy. She said “give me those crystals now or I’ll turn you into stone!” Georgina refused. The fairy got really angry with this and tried to turn her into stone but Georgina dodged it. By this the fairy got angrier and just snatched it from Georgina furiously. She flew off into a hole in a tree.
Georgina said “we must follow that fairy!” But Nardiasa wasn’t so sure. They climbed into the hole. It was dark, damp and muddy inside the tree. Nardiasa thought she heard a noise so she turned around and saw a…
    …MONSTER!!
The monsters name was Billy. Billy was a friendly monster but Georgina and Nardiasa didn’t know that so they ran all the way to the cosy cottage hotel and back.
When they got back Billy was waiting for them. He explained that he was a friendly monster and the fairy was evil. He explained that the fairy was cursed by an evil witch and the only thing that could break the curse was the wishing crystals so the witch has ordered the magic wishing crystals to be destroyed.
Georgina and Nardiasa thought about it for a moment then Nardiasa had an idea. “I know” said Nardiasa “we will wish upon the crystals before they are destroyed”.
“Great idea Nardiasa! But how do we get the crystals?” asked Georgina.
“I know” said Billy “the cave I live in leads to Fairyland, if we go there we should be able to find the evil fairy. If we can explain to her that she is under a curse she may let us help her by wishing on the magic crystals instead of her destroying them for the evil witch.”
“Great idea Billy” said Nardiasa “but what if she tries to turn us in to stone?”
“That’s a risk we’ll just have to take” said Billy “we can’t let the evil witch win, we have to turn the evil fairy back to a good fairy.”
Although they were anxious, they walked through Billy’s cave slowly and nervously. As they got closer to the gateway of fairyland Georgina and Nardiasa felt tingles of excitement down their spines.
They walked through Fairyland looking for the evil fairy. They got a glimpse of her turning round a corner and disappearing down an alleyway. They cornered her in the alleyway and Georgina tried to explain to her about the evil witch’s curse and the magic wishing crystals.
The evil fairy wouldn’t listen, because she was under the curse, so she tried to turn Billy and the girls in to stone. In the battle, she accidently dropped the crystals. Nardiasa made a grab for them and threw them to Georgina who quickly made a wish upon one of them to turn the evil fairy back to good.
Suddenly there was a flash of light and a puff of smoke and the fairy’s dress turned from black to a beautiful orange. The fairy, now realising what had happened to her, thanked Billy and the girls for releasing her from the curse. She told them her name was Princess Tiger Lily and that the evil witch is always trying to take over the kingdom of Fairyland.
Out of nowhere the evil witch appeared with a look of fury on her face and grabbed Princess Tiger Lily. The Princess shouts to Georgina “Use the other magic wishing crystal” as she is being whisked away by the witch.
Georgina took the crystal in her hand and muttered under her breath “turn the evil witch into stone and never let her be free”.
Like a popping of popcorn the evil witch turned to stone. “Hooray” Billy and the girls chorused.
“Thank you for saving me and my kingdom” cried Princess Tiger Lily “from this day forward, if you ever need any help say my name 3 times and I shall come to you.”
Billy guided the girls home and they all slept well after their big adventure!

    Margot, Year 3

    The Human Apple

One day in a farm on a hill, in nearly the middle of nowhere, there lived a farmer who had loads of crops, but his favourite crop was the beloved apple orchard. The apple orchard was beloved because it had been passed down for centuries.

The farmer lived in a farm house which has a beautiful surrounding. You can feel the wonderful breeze in the sky, touch the beloved apple orchard and all the crop, hear the bird’s song through day and night, see a distance far far away, taste fresh air sweep through the trees into the sky up, up and away. Smell the coloured flowers that dance in the summer breeze.

    Now the journey begins!

    The next day…
The farmer said to himself, “I think I’m going to eat an apple today!” But he didn’t know that there was a … HUMAN APPLE! (ME)
The human apple was green at first, but it quickly changed into a red one. The apple noticed that the farmer was coming towards her. Just then, she was taken off the tree and she shouted, “It’s me Margot!” But the farmer couldn’t hear, so he ate the apple. At first, Margot thought that she was going to die, so she was so scared about it.
But then she realised that she wasn’t dead. She was alive.
The farmer threw remains of the apple onto the ground.

Next spring another apple tree grew and loads of little green apples started to grow. So it wasn’t the end of me as an apple!

                                                                THE END

    Friends with William

On my first day of school I walked into the stuffy classroom. Everyone pushed and scrambled in. A boy walked up to me and after all the commotion was over he said, “Hello.” I wasn’t sure if I should answer so I shrank away into the corner of the classroom. After a while we made friends. He told me his name was William. I said mine was Richard.

At first we used to give each other marks out of ten for our stories. For some reason, William’s always got better marks. But the more friendly we became, the less I cared because I thought they were as good as any my parents read me at bedtime.

The next term there was an outbreak of plague. It spread quickly like an army charging and leaving the dead behind. It captured my mother and father. I grieved for them, but I couldn’t stay alone. The only place I could go was William’s house. They warmly welcomed me.

When I entered the house clouds of sawdust and loud banging noises came from the cellar. There was a quill, a tree that looked as if it had come from the woods (I later discovered it had come from the woods) and piles of pins.

“I’m trying to make this stage,” said William jumping from behind the tree.
Picking up the quill and a handful of pins, I asked, “What are these for?”
“Well, the quill is a makeshift screwdriver, the pins makeshift screws.”
That afternoon we spent our time planning and building.

We performed puppet shows on the stage. They were made of sticks and strings. As William’s father was a glove-maker we used his scraps of fabric to make their clothes.

As we grew up our puppet shows grew up with us. We performed in the living room, but soon we moved to the yard and friends watched. Then we had to move to the lane so all the village children could spectate.

We moved to London and our shows moved too. We performed at fairs, popular landmarks and eventually we were invited to noblemen’s houses.

But one day, when performing at Lord Hamlet’s house, he quietly said, “There is a company that has room for two more. I think you two are just right.”
I could tell by his expression that William wanted to be the playwright, not just a player.
“One day I will write a play and the hero shall have your name,” he replied.

We went home, this thought lingering in our minds and it seemed as if this thread would stitch our lives together.

Years later I strode on stage and I could feel William watching me, as if his eyes were magnets and I was iron. As I said “To be or not to be,” the groundlings cheered.

After the final curtain I ran to hug William.
“That was the best acting you’ve ever done, Burbage!”
“And that is the best play you’ve ever written, Shakespeare!”

Dave Brave and the Sledge Serum-Stopper
Meet Dave Brave. His real name is Dave Nuggets. His job is to become a Future Time Life (FTL) agent. I’ll tell you that later, but first I need to tell you this story. It all began when Dave went to the post office with a parcel. He was giving it to Rosie Stamp the receptionist. “Dave? Dave Nuggets?”
“That’s me” Dave replied. It was Sam Letters the postman.
    “Here’s a letter” Sam replied.
“Why wasn’t it sent through the post?” Dave asked, really confused. “Because it’s only for your eyes” Sam replied, crouching down and winking to him. Dave raced home, ripping open the letter. It said Dave had been specially assigned for a school in Switzerland.
    Three days later..
As he walked through the airport a sign said “Dave Nuggets”. Sam Letters appeared. “I’m taking you” Sam said. As they were in the car Sam told Dave “Look Dave, do you believe you’re in a school because you’re not, you’re saving the world. Your new agent name is Dave Brave”.
Suddenly the car came to a halt. “Put on your skis” Sam said. “I don’t have any” Dave said. “Really?” said Sam, opening the car boot revealing brand-new skis wrapped in gold nugget paper. “Awesome” said Dave, “But how did you know”? Sam didn’t answer.
As they approached the FTL chalet Dave asked Sam “What’s your agent name”?
“Sam the Ram – look out!” he replied trying to warn him.
“Sam the Ram – look OUCH!” Dave said crashing into a barrel.
Suddenly the barrel tilted up revealing a tunnel. They took off their skis and Sam took a grenade, just in case…..
Meanwhile Dr Doom, the evil mastermind, was planning to launch a mind-control-serum on the U.S.A, because 30 days ago he had been fired from the U.S scientists’ society for making a mistake in his calculations about a meteor. So he was planning to get revenge and his serum was about to launch three meters away from the barrel, from his underground laboratory.
But a boy called Marco was sledging down the hill towards the spot where Dr Doom was going to fire the rocket. So Dr Doom opened a hatch next to his serum and dragged the boy down into his prison.
As Dave and Sam walked through a door they found themselves in Dr Doom’s laboratory. Dr Doom grabbed his laser gun and shot the grenade out of Sam’s hand. As Dave rushed to see if Sam was OK, Dr Doom fired a net and captured Dave and Sam.
Three minutes later Dave and Sam were in the prison with Marco. As they struggled to get free, Marco said “If you use my sledge as a catapult you can break the net and launch the grenade at the serum”. So as Dave carefully aimed, Sam and Marco shouted “Fire!”
Dr Doom’s serum exploded, landing on him!
Now Dave, Sam and Marco had saved the World.

One shiny bright morning a girl called Ocean awoke from her soft fluffy pillow and ran down stairs. Ocean lived with her grandad, his name was Mitchell. Mitchell was a farmer and he loved animals, but the one favourite thing in his life was Ocean. Ocean was eighteen and Mitchell was eighty three.
“Grandad, come on, let’s go and feed the lambs” said Ocean excitedly.
“Okay” Mitchell shouted to Ocean. Ocean always wanted to feed the lambs but she was too young, but now she is old enough. After that Ocean asked if Mitchell could tell her a story and of course he said yes.
“Today’s story is about a magical tree that is also in an enchanted wood.”

    Chapter Two
    Ocean’s dream

After the story about the magical tree, Ocean went to bed and fell to a confusing place. That confusing place was in front of the magical tree. Ocean could see all the bright yellow butter cups and the wisps sparkling around her. Everything was magical. So Ocean ran to the magical tree, it was more magical than Mitchell had described. It was made not of bark, not of leaves, but of daisy chains. It was beautiful. Ocean was so amazed her heart was a leopard, she was so excited, but she didn’t know where or when she was going to sleep. That was when her heart sank, she nearly stopped breathing, it was a disaster. Meanwhile a tiger was creeping up before her and in one second he knocked Ocean over and started to bite her. Suddenly out of nowhere a man came and pulled the tiger off Ocean.
“Hello, sorry about that. My name is Jack, I work here. You see me and my mum are very poor and I have to work to get money for our food and rent. Our lives are very hard.”
“Well I was wondering maybe you could find me a home and place to stay for the night,” said Ocean wondrously.
“Don’t you live here” Jack said with a very confused face.
    “No, I don’t, I’m lost.”
    “Well, the story’s are true.”
    “What stories?”
“The legends. They say that when a lost penniless 18 year old girl comes to a village here, the emerald stone will bring them back.”
“What emerald stone?” Ocean said confused and terrified.

    Chapter Three
    The Emerald Stone

“I don’t get it” Ocean said.
“Where will I find the stone?”
“You will find it where ever you find it.” Jack announced.
“But where, I don’t know this world, how will I find it?
“Come with me” Jack reached out for Ocean’s hand and made a shout.
    “Mother! Mother!”
“What are you doing?” Ocean asked.
“Calling for my mother to get the map and show the legend to you” Jack whispered. Suddenly they heard a dark sound coming from the trees. It was the Black riders. They wore caps and had black boots with plants on them, with a belt strapped around their waist and attached to that was the scabbard with a sword inside. There were more than one Black rider, there were hundreds of them. They were all on horses. Ocean and Jack both really liked each other so they held hands and ran behind a tree.
The Black riders were shadows. Everything on them was black and you could not see their real selves. One of them pointed a torch to the tree Ocean and Jack were behind.
“Jack, what should we do? how are we going to get away from the Black riders?” Ocean said scared. Her eyes were wide open, she was so terrified. All that came out of Jacks mouth was silence. So Ocean copied him. All was quiet, you could hear the leaves dropping from the trees. Alone with the Black riders’ scabbard scraping the leather saddle and the hooves crushing the beautiful green leaves on the floor making them black, just like the Black riders. Ocean felt the earth breaking and the leaves falling. The Black riders were now getting closer and closer to the tree Ocean and Jack were behind. The noises were getting louder as the Black riders were going past. Jack grabbed Ocean’s arm and started to move down the woods behind them until they found a path.
“Come on Ocean, this might lead somewhere.” Jack said.
Ocean and Jack followed the path for days on end. Ocean needed to wash her face, so she found a nearby lake and put her face inside. Suddenly she saw the emerald stone and grabbed it. Then magic was all around and Ocean was back on her soft fluffy pillow. But she still had the emerald stone!
“What do I do with this, it’s not mine?
