Class 3 lead Collective Worship on The Romans

Class 3 lead an excellent Collective Worship on The Romans.  Did you know that Christianity came to Britain, when Romans, arriving in Britain, spread the story of Jesus?

Class 3 talked through their learning on events during The Roman period, linked to what we have learnt in geography about locations across the UK, and newspaper report writing in London, linked to reporting on Boudicca’s revolt.

The children sang ‘Oil in My Lamp’ as the The Romans used oil lamps for light.

It was also an opportunity for the children to show their parents wonderful fish prints created during London Craft Week.

Keep Shining Class 3!

I really liked your assembly. It had lots of good elements, fun and interesting songs, facts and Romans all delivered with panache by lovely children.

I am proud of myself and the whole class for the passionate performance we made that day. I hope that we will be as good as we were this time!
