Class 3 visit glorious Tuesley Farm!

We had a wonderful visit to Tuesley Farm in Sussex (on the hottest day in ten years!).

We were made to feel extremely welcome and looked after by the hosts who kindly showed us around the fruit farm for the day. We learnt how strawberries and blueberries are grown. We also had a good insight into how irrigation systems are used on farms (this is how plants are watered and therefore able to grow and produce fruit).

Amazingly, we also were given the opportunity to pick our own fruit. We are very grateful to Tuesley Farm who allowed us to have a magical day. Thank you for teaching us so much and also for allowing us to experience life on a fruit farm. We hope you enjoy our pictures.

Thank you to all the parent helpers: Gloria, Emma and Lucy. We couldn’t have gone to Tuesley Farm without you. Thank you so much to Lucy for her fantastic pictures, shown below.
