Class 5 will be focusing on Ancient Greece this term in our Literacy, Art and History. We will be looking at their artefacts and making a mask to perform Greek theatre, investigating the characteristics of Myths and Legends (particularly the Trojan Wars), and finally looking at Ancient Greek society and culture in History.
Can you suggest any aspects of Ancient Greece which you would especially like to know more about?

Well done!
It’s interesting to know about Ancient Greece, I found out an interesting fact: Medusa fell in love with Poseidon and then jealous Athena, who loved Poseidon, turned Medusa into a dreadful Gorgon. She had long, golden locks before she was a gorgon.
Wow, that is a really interesting comment Kristel, thank you. Poseidon seems to have been at the bottom of many of the problems in these myths and legends!
If anyone finds any more of these fascinating links between myths, please share!
