The first school-led Cathedral service of the academic year was held this morning and Year 6 explored ‘The Kingdom of God’ as revealed by the parables in the book of Matthew.

The reflected particularly on the parable of the Mustard seed and on the meaning for their lives, the school and the wider world.

Father Michael at the end of the service praised the thoughtfulness of the reflections.

We have created our class charter today to outline our rights and our right respecting actions.

We have been writing short stories, with a twist in the tale.

The last day has arrived for this year’s Class 6! They have made a wonderful contribution to the school, and some great, great friends. Thank you for everything!

International Week is now over, and we have had a great time. Today we had a very esteemed guest in to tell us a story, which was fantastic. In addition, some wonderful performers represented Class 6 in the International Week Show last night.

Finally, it has been announced! This year’s production will be, Mulan! Class 6 already have their script, they have already begun to learn the songs, and will audition next week for one of the amazing roles!

Wow! What an exciting morning! We had a team of brain scientists come and explain their work to us. We learned lots, and fed our enthusiasm for science.
