After an exciting assembly this morning where we found out dragons had been spotted in America, we were amazed to return to our classroom to find that they have even visited Cathedral School! Amazingly, a dragon has made a nest in our classroom with four eggs in.
We thought about what might hatch out of the eggs, and because they are all different colours, shapes and sizes that it might be different kinds of dragons! We thought about things that we might have to do to look after the eggs. We came up with the following:
– Keep the eggs warm
– Don’t move or hit the eggs
– Say kind words around the eggs (that way kind dragons will hatch)
– Keep the eggs dry
– Make sure there is food for when they hatch
We were even more amazed when Class 1 came in and told us that outside they had found some evidence of dragons! We rushed out and found that indeed outside there were eggs, dragon skin and slime!
We are going to spend the week investigating and learning about dragons – please let us know if you see any evidence of dragon activity!
Wow reception. It looks like you are having so much fun investigating the dragons visit around Cathedral school.Maybe you will find the strange creature by the end of book week!
All your pictures are so good. It makes me feel that there was a real dragon. The marks of claws are really look like a dragons claw mark. It was surprisingly you said you had to had to hide behind a shed because it makes me feel there was a dragon. Do you think that there was a dragon?
Very interesting. Maybe there was a dragon.
well i love all your costumes reception even MS Godsell and Sara dressed nice in your costumes and we might see some more real dragons.
