Stars of the week: Amaris and Shaye
This week, Reception have explored different ways of balancing and travelling and how to stay safe when using the gym apparatus. They were brave when using apparatus that was new to them and waited patiently for their turn to use the equipment. Great work Reception!
We also started our new topic ‘Festivals and Celebrations.’ We started reading our topic text, Not Last Night but the Night Before and made storyboards to sequence the events of the story. In RE we looked at photographs of a time we have had a special celebration. We thought about how we celebrate special occasions and how that might be similar or different to each other’s experiences.
