Well done to Class 3 who have created some excellent fish prints for London Craft Week. We created our own fish patterns in polystyrene and using an ink spreader, evenly spread ink over our designs which then were printed onto different coloured paper.
We were very lucky to have Contemporary Applied Arts come to our class and run two workshops with the children. We also had a very exciting experience and went to the Contemporary Applied Arts (CAA) Gallery for a final workshop.
The prints of fish and sea patterns will be at the exhibition of works made by the students and other community groups as part of London Craft Week at CAA will be from 4-18 June, so we hope parents get the chance to visit.
