A visit to see ducklings in Reception

We had a fantastic trip to Reception, to meet some new members of their class today.

We really enjoyed observing how the ducklings moved and interacted with each other. We learnt about what ducklings eat and also their habitat.

Thank you to Reception and our new fluffy friends.

The ducklings are adorable in reception! Reception are so lucky. Better luck than mine by half! It’s such a pity they’ve gone back to the farm. I think it’s called Olly’s Farm. Personally I liked Fred best. He’s the one with black and yellow feathers ( fastest of them, last to get caught by Miss Hatherley and Margaret!),the odd one out.

The ducklings in reception were so cute. I was so lucky to go and see the ducklings. There was one that was the odd one out. His name was Fred. I liked Fred the most because he was funny and when Margaret was trying to get in back in the cage, I think that Fred must have been scared because he kept on running away each time. I also liked Fred because he had a black hair and the rest had all yellow. Fred was the fastest(about as fast as me if not faster). I hope that when they go to the farm, I hope that they go to Surrey docks farm when they are old enough. They will be looked after very well and I can visit them there.
