Super scientists.

Today in Year 4 we were incredibly lucky to have the very talented Miss Sabic in to help us learn all about forces. We explored the forces push and pull through a variety of exciting experiments, including ‘Air Bazooka’, ‘Plasticine Boats’, ‘Magnet Dominoes’, ‘Hairdryer Ping-Pong’, ‘Balloon Rocket’ and ‘Straw Spinners’. What a fun day! Have a look at these photos. Can you see yourself? What experiment did you enjoy the most? Which force did you use for the activity to work? Can you try any of these experiments at home?

Year 4 look like they’re having great fun! It’s excellent that they’re really enthusiastic about Science lessons, especially as Miss Sabic is teaching them. They’re using their brains and trying lots of different strategies to complete the task given to them. And Letassqia’s totally right, Year 4 are ready to move up to your 5, because they are little smart brainiacs!

I enjoyed the air bazooka experiment the most. I also liked the experiment when we used hairdryers to blow the ping pong balls into the air. I tryed some of the experiments at home: the straw experiment and the hair dryer one. I really enjoyed it!
