Welcome back! We’ve had an exciting week with World Faith Week. In class 4 we’ve been learning about Hinduism. We were lucky enough to have an extra special visitor to teach us all about Hinduism. Krishna brought in loads of artifacts, costumes, paints and books for us to use and explore. We enjoyed dressing up and painting our faces, as well as reading loads of interesting books and stories. We got to share it all with year 3. What was your favourite part of the week?
I really enjoyed world faiths week and learning about Hinduism. I especially liked the Hinduism workshop.
I would love to see the light festival with the oil lamps.
What a lovely day we had. I’d love to go to India one day and see the countryside and especially the sacred cows. I would like to learn more about the history and culture of India and maybe go to Rajasthan where I have heard that it is beautiful and colourful.
The Hinduism workshop was really fun because we got to dress up and use face paint.
I really liked getting my face painted and doing the welcome dance. I really enjoyed learning a lot of Hinduism facts.
The colours that I had on my eyebrows were black and blue.
In world faith week I sketched a hindu god and we painted each others faces, but my favourite part of the week was when we got to dress up like hindus.
My favourite part of world faith week was finding out all the information about Hinduism. I liked the dolls that Krishna bought in to show us, their costumes where beautiful. I thought the costumes where beautiful because of the mixture of bright colours.

I really like year 4, we had a brilliant week learning about Hinduism. i liked getting my face painted and exploring all parts of the religion.
World faith week was very cool and interesting. I enjoyed the face painting.
In the workshop for Hinduism we learnt about the main gods in Hinduism.
Some of the girls put saris on and we put face paints on like we were a Hindu. We also looked at the oil lamps, they were so pretty!

I loved face painting with my partner and dressing up as if we were Hindus. It was much more colourful than my school uniform!

I absolutely loved world faith week . It was so fun .
I think that when we did the face painting and when everyone was dressing up was really fun! That was my favourite part. In our class we were learning about Hinduism and it was a lot more different then Christianity. Thank you chrishna for teaching us about Hinduism ar the Hindu workshop. I learnt a lot in worlds faith week!
