Today we had a visitor from Reptile Life. He came to tell us all about different animals and tell us lots more about our topic, habitats and adaptations.
He brought loads of different animals with him and told us about classification, kingdoms and adaptations that the animals have which makes them suited to their habitat.
We even got to handle the animals…including Charlotte, a Chilean Rose Tarantula! We also met Dave (a Royal Python), Walter (a Burmese Python), Dexter (a Barn Owl) and loads more!
What did you learn from the session? Which animal was your favourite?
Did you know that girl spiders when they’ve had a baby they eat the boy spider
Did you know Barn Owl’s sleep in the day and hunt for food at night.
That was so fun! My favourite part was Charllote, the spider because I got to hold her and she was really soft and her hair was ticklish.
We spoke about all of the different classifications and the features that they have. The Tenrec and the Meerkat were really cute (especially the laughing one)!
I really enjoyed this animal project! Most of us got to hold a whole python that was 3.4m long which is amazing.
I REALLY ENJOYED IT and learnt lots of facts.
I loved it! I learn a lot about animals.I could have stayed there for the rest of the day.I liked they laughing meerkat! It was humorous.

My favourite animal was the snake, Walter. I couldn’t believe that it took six of us to hold it. when I felt its scales they kept flaking off. I also really liked the meerkat especially the laughing one.
I really liked seeing the animals, the pthon was 3.4ms long. Charlotte was a tarantula, and could live till they are 15 or 16, and male tarantulas can only live till they are 5 or 6! Thank you Rob and Johnny for letting us hold and stroke the animals!
I really enjoyed holding Walter the Burmese Python.I got really scared when they let him lose and said that he was 3.4 metres long!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

I really enjoyed the visit from Reptile Life the reason I enjoyed it so much as I could learn new names of animals such as Charlotte, a Chilean Rose Tarantula! We also met Dave (a Royal Python), Walter (a Burmese Python), Dexter (a Barn Owl) and my favourite the meerkat. The other reason I loved there visit is that we got to feel the different textures of the animal.I would love for them to come back .Thank you Mr Morrell for a great expertise.
It was really fun holding all the animals I liked looking at the laughing meerkat I really enjoyed Walter the Burmese Python! Charlotte the chilli spider she was calm I thought that she would run away or hid somewhere but she relaxed on our hand and didn’t do anything but I Think it could be a bit funny when I saw Dave he was really special.
It’s so amazing seeing all the reptiles and the feeling of them felt really weird . I think that the people who worked there really respected the animals because they really cared about them a lot.
This was the best experence ever. It was really fun and I would so love to do it again! It would be really funny to watch Roxie the meerkat laugh again. I was a bit scared of big spiders before but now I love them, especially Charlotte the tarantula.
I wonder how heavy the 3.4 meters long python is. It must be a lot because when I held it with 5 of my other class mates I was still aching from the pain.
It was good when we saw animals I like the snake it was big I like that day it was fun
