Today we were visited by Rob from Reptile Life to teach us about different animals. This linked in to our science topic of living things and their habitats.
Rob brought in a selection of animals and told us lots of information about them, including about their habitats, their diets and what life is like for them in the wild.
It was great to see and handle some of the animals! We can’t wait to get writing about our fantastic day!

This was the best day ever I loved the animals so much and especially the racoon everything was amazing and I enjoyed it very much

It was so fun meeting the animals today. My top 3 animals which came were the racoon, meercat and skunk. I really learnt a lot today not just about the animals but their habitats. Thank you Rob!

It was so exiting to see reptile life again.
I think everyone enjoyed seeing the animals that Rob brought with him.
We are now writing poems about the different animals.

The reptile life animals were amazing. I learned lots about invertebrates and vertebrates.
I really enjoyed them coming in to tell us about reptile life. I wish they could come again. My favourite animals were the snakes. My favourite snake was Dave.
It was really scary holding the snake because it was moving and it was so heavy that I thought that I was going to drop it! I thought it was very fun for reptile life to come in again.Thank you for arranging the reptile life to come.
