Hello and welcome back! We’ve had a busy start to the term, starting with Art Week and taking a trip to London CLC for a digital music workshop!
The theme for Art Week was ‘Colourful London’ so we created repeating patterns in the style of TFL tube seats, using them as a background for our collages.
In our digital music workshop, we created our own sound effects before trimming and looping them to build a beat and begin to create our own songs.

I enjoyed going to the CLC and learn more about rhythm. I was surprised when I found out that music is what you can hear around you. Making a poster on comic life was fun. When we made the repeating pattern in the style of TFL tube seats, using them as a background for our collages I found it really nice. I hope we can do it again.
I really liked making are colourful London with it’s repeating patens. I also really liked going to the clc.
I liked the art because everyone did different patterns, we didn’t do any random colour we picked a colour that a London Underground tube line had.
I love it. It so great.
I really did have a wonderful time on arts week!
And I really did like our trip to the clc trip!
