Dogger

This week, Nursery began reading Dogger by Shirley Hughes, and used it as a starting point for lots of active learning. We have a toy shop role play indoors, and are creating a fairground outdoors. We have been writing tickets and price labels, using money and trying out our skills on the fairground games.

Nursery have really been challenging themselves with their mathematical language in the toy shop!

Dogger is one of my favourite stories. I love the illustrations and it reminds me of my teddy bear called Googie. I can’t wait to visit the toy shop.

I love your fairground, particularly the Hook a Duck game looks like great fun.
