Nursery studied the artist Piet Mondrian this week, and had lots to say, comparing his pictures to mazes, skyscrapers and hopscotch!
Everyone made their own Mondrian-inspired artwork using masking tape, coloured chalk pastels and black paper. When we peeled back the masking tape, straight, black lines appeared!
Children in nursery also chose to make Mondrian pictures independently, drawing around shapes and practising their ruler skills.
Wow Nursery! Your Mondrian-inspired pictures are fantastic. Especially, the artwork on the displays. Keep it up!
Fantastic work Nursery – I am so impressed with your art!
