On Tuesday morning, Reception put on a fantastic assembly for all their parents and carers, as well as other students of Cathedral School.
Reception thought about all of the wonderful learning that they have done this year and shared a few of their favourite things.
After sharing some facts about space, a song to remember the order of the planets and about their trip to the Cathedral, Reception sang a song to the tune of ‘New York, New York!’ but instead called it ‘Class 1, Class 1!’ which everyone enjoyed! The song shows how ready and excited Reception are to be going to Class 1 in a few short weeks!

I really enjoyed your assembly Reception and I espically like the song Class 1 Class 1 and I think you would make an excellent Class 1. I learnt something new about planets and your song about planets is still in my head well done Reception you should be proud!
