Today it is Takeover Day! It is really enjoyable because we get to do Miss Deacon’s job. The jobs that we have done today have included reading buddies, marking literacy and numeracy books, leading starters and plenaries of lessons. We have also done things like taking the register, calling out names at home time, leading the rest of the class out to play and taking lessons. Despite the fact that this is quite fun, it is also quite tiring. Now we know how Miss Deacon and Timi feel when they are teaching.

“I was very impressed with myself for acting like a teacher” Shakirah.
“The day went so quickly because I was having so much fun” Nancy.
“Even though today was very tiring, I still want a job as a teacher” Lola.
Today was really fantastic, we wish it could happen more often!
I loved take over day it was like I was already a teacher.
I loved Takeover Day because you can practice being a teacher and now I want to be an actual teacher!!!!!!!!

I saw the pictures even thought I wasn’t there, I still looked at the pictures and they looked fabulous plus I love the new Purple Mash.
It made me realise how hard out teachers work and now that I know that I will listen EVEN more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
