This week we have been reviewing the Phonics sounds and Maths skills that we have learnt in Nursery so far.
We also read ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ by Giles Andrea, and used our phonic knowledge to write the sounds that we could hear to label pictures of different animals.
Stars of the Week:
Leo and Sadie
Well done to Sadie and Leo who really impressed Miss Bailey with their writing this week. Both children could hear the initial sounds for all the animals we were labelling, and could find the correct corresponding letter on the letter mat. They demonstrated great pencil control, and tried really hard to write the letters using the correct formation.
