What’s in a name, Radio 4

A few weeks ago we were visited by Adele. Adele is a producer for Radio 4. For a Radio show that she was making she wanted to record the register being taken in a school in London. Lucky for us, she chose Cathedral School! We were really excited to know more about it so Adele explained to us that the programme was all about what our name means and how your name can affect how people talk to you and their opinions of you. It made us think about our own names and we discussed where our names originate and why our parents chose these names for us.
What is your name? Do you know why you are called it?

These are some pictures of us being recorded for Radio 4!

You can listen to the radio programme at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01nq2zp.
We made it onto the show for 10 seconds. If you listen about 20 minutes into the show you might hear us!
