Autumn 1, Week 6

Stars of the week: Liv and Nathan

This week in Art, we’ve thought about mixing colours and these children have had lots of fun with paint and made beautiful artwork.

The children have now completed their first half term in Reception – a huge well done to all of them!

It’s great to see how much more settled they have become as the half term has progressed.

In Mathematics this week, we’ve been looking at patterns. We’ve read the story Pitter Pattern by Joyce Hesselberth. This has drawn some light on all of the patterns we see in every day life.

In Literacy we’ve thought about initial sounds and in Phonics we’ve learned h, b, f and l.

Thank you to everyone for coming in for Parents’ Evening this week – I hope you all have a wonderful half term!
