Stars of the week: Raphael and Julie Maria
These children have been selected for their excellent commitment to this weeks’ rehearsals of our Nativity play!
They have read their lines enthusiastically and sing all of the songs beautifully. Well done them.
This week we’ve been trying to learn our lines for our Christmas play. The play will take place on Wednesday December 13th. All children have a line or two that they’ll want to learn. We’ll send home a script for each child so that you can practice at home as well.
In phonics we’ve learnt: qu, th, ng and nk.
Next week we won’t learn any new sounds, we’ll practice blending words with all of the sounds we’ve already learnt.
In Mathematics we’ve been looking at addition. Next week we’ll try to develop the skill of counting on from a given amount to find an answer, rather than counting everything from the beginning.
